Marketing is like a board game. You have certain checkpoints or campaigns along the way. You advance your player (products or services) with each campaign that brings in revenues. Hurdles include limited marketing budgets, fragmented audience, and other competing players. The player with the most repeat business wins!
How to Play
The object is to have more Market Share than your opponent by the end of play. To start, choose the best Client to be your game piece. Both you and your opponent take turns moving your Clients to colored "Campaign" squares on the game board. Each time you land on a Campaign square you draw a matching Campaign Card. You either lose or gain Market Share based on how well the Campaign matches your Client game piece. Hint: Even a great campaign card can fail if matched to a weak Client game piece.Each time you land on the blue square you have a chance to trade in your Client game piece for a better one. With enough market share you'll earn status of "Marketeer," giving you the option to trade in your Client game piece at any point in the game. Hint: Keeping a lame Client will lower your score.
Scoring
You take Market Share from your opponent each time your Campaign matches well with your Client game piece. Conversely, you'll give Market Share to your opponent each time you mismatch your Campaign with your Client game piece.How to Win
The game ends either when a player attains 100% Market Share, or when time runs out. The player with the most Market Share at the end of play wins!From the makers of
