Targa Media Competes and Performs at People's Choice 2008

SALT LAKE CITY, January 5, 2008. Citizens have the opportunity to not only be the judge of advertising portfolios, but also to decide who is more musically inclined! Targa Media is fighting for the top position in Utahâs advertising realm in more ways than one. This year, the marketing agency has entered several pieces of work into the Utah Advertising Federationâs Annual "Addy Awards" Contest.

Additionally, Targa Media President, pianist, and bass guitarist, Jason Steed, will lead his band "The Fret Setters" to fight for fame in the Battle of the Bands contest during the Peopleâs Choice Awards at the Utah State Fair Grounds. "At my marketing agency, we don't want to provide the dry and dull experience that often accompanies the business world, we aim to add a little spice to everything we do...even in our personal lives," says Targa Media's President, Jason Steed.

Visitors can bring the whole family, stop on by and preview the work that has been entered in the Addyâs and choose between the best 7 bands, created by local agency professionals, belting out their favorite tunes. Each guest will be invited to cast his/her vote to select the "Peopleâs Choice Award." The Peopleâs Choice Award will be presented at the annual ADDY¨ Gala. The Battle of the Bands winner will play during the social hour before the Addyâs at The Depot on March 15th.

Where: Utah State Fair Park > Bonneville Building. Park map.
Other Details: $5 entry, cash bar available, live music, and a whole lotta fun!
