Targa Media Wins 2008 Addy Award
SALT LAKE CITY, April 10, 2008. The Utah Advertising Federation presented Targa Media with an ADDY Award for their submission of The NamePlate 5000. Within the "Self Promotion" category, 22 awards were given to the best of over 225 entries from 79 leading ad agencies and design firms.
On March 15 AAF-Utah hosted an annual dinner and awards presentation for more than 300 members of the Utah advertising community. The statewide advertising competition fielded 750 entries and awarded honors for the best work in multiple categories. Local winners will move on to be judged regionally and nationally by the American Advertising Federation.
Concepted and fabricated by Targa Media, the NamePlate 5000 is a personalized desk name plate and messaging center. Jason Steed, President and CEO of Targa Media commented, "It's a fun concept that plays off the idea of good marketing communication. Our clients can compose up to 5,000 different messages." Steed added, "They can choose to display most common messages, or compose an original message each day for several years."
Jason accepted the recognition at the annual ADDYs Gala at The Depot in Salt Lake City on March 15th, 2008.
