Our team is involved in current affairs in the business community through local and national publication subscriptions, institute memberships, and chambers of commerce.

Jason E. Steed—President and CEO [Email]
Jason has ten years of marketing, design and corporate promotion experience. He serves as the company's President and CEO, focusing on marketing, branding, and communications strategies. Jason has designed marketing solutions for such companies as Novell, Intel, 3Com, PowerQuest, NextPage, Utah Department of Health, Yale University, U.S. Navy, HealthRider, Lifetime Products, and others. Recognitions include the AIGA 100 Awards and Addy Awards. Jason combines marketing promotion and visual communication with a strategic media mix including Web interface design, corporate identity, multimedia, print, packaging, signage, illustration, etc. In addition to design solutions, he focuses on media distribution strategies and brand consulting. Jason has taught Online Marketing and E-commerce at the University of Utah and is a member of both Leadership Utah 2003-2004 and the DATC Applied Technology College Employer Advisory Committee. Jason is an Honorary Chairman for the National Business Advisory Council. He holds a BFA Degree in Graphic Design from Brigham Young University.

Scott is a Senior Developer with Targa Media. His experience is in Active Server Pages, ASP.Net, C#, Visual Basic, SQL, HTML, DHTML, Javascript, PHP, JSP, Java, Delphi, C++, and Perl. His database experience includes Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and Microsoft Access. He also has significant experience with design tools, assuring that rendered technologies retain a solid marketing focus. Clients include U.S. Air Force and Navy, Bonneville Communications, Sverdrup Technology, Flying J, Nutrisessions.com, and Utah Department of Health. Scott holds a BS Degree in Computer Science from Weber State University.

Julie Allen—Public Relations Director [Email]
Julie has over 13 years of experience in 1-to-1 marketing execution strategies. She has developed and launched Web and traditional campaigns based on permission-based marketing models. She has developed detailed campaigns covering strategy, messaging, implementation, and performance management. Finally, she implements rigorous ROE and ROI analyses and metrics and program performance with every campaign. Julie has held senior marketing positions in companies such as: Sybase, PowerQuest Corporation, Novell, Inc., FranklinCovey and WordPerfect. She has consulted with companies such as: 3M, Verticore Technologies, Nordstrom, Starbridge Systems, and others. Julie is a Business Management graduate from Brigham Young University and holds a graduate certificate in Marketing Communications from the University of Utah.

Scott Wilhite—Senior Copywriter [Email]
Scott brings to the table exceptional creative writing and campaign development skills. His professional experience includes Ackerman McQueen in Oklahoma City, DSW Partners and Boede Partners in Salt Lake City, and Montgomery Zuckerman Davis in Indianapolis. National clients include Six Flags, Intel, Iomega, Netscape, Volera, and Weider Nutrition. Local and regional clients include Hoosier Lottery, Indiana Dept. of Public Health, Gentner Communications, and Dataflow. Awards and honors inlcude National Addy's, One Show, and Telly's Awards.

Lynn Backman—Senior Art Director, Direct Mail Division [Email]
Lynn Backman has over 25 years experience in direct mail design and messaging. National accounts include: Oxmoor House, House of White Birches, F&W Publications, Reader's Digest, and Meredith Corporation, as well as national publications such as Outdoor Life Magazine, Field & Stream, Skiing, Ski, and Outdoor Explorer Magazines. Noteworthy are response rates that Lynn has helped these companies achieve. One among these is a redesign of Annie's Attic, achieving a 76% lift rate. Other factors included refinements to the house list and new product offers. Lynn's work on the Woodworking for Women and Christmas From the Heart book series campaigns helped achieve lift rates above 30%.
