Targa Media is looking for flexible-hour team members to fill seats in a cozy and creative downtown office environment. Be a part of some of the strongest design and marketing talent pooled together under 1 roof.

This is a great opportunity for freelance designers and developers to mingle with strong talent and build skills in their industries. In exchange for FREE RENT, Talent Pool Associates agree to donate their time at weekly staff meetings and in minor "open for business" duties.

As a freelancer hired under an "hourly-salary employee" status, you'll have opportunities to engage in a variety of projects for Targa Media's clients. Clients include local, national and global companies in a variety of industries such as technology, professional services, education, healthcare, and more. Targa Media provides its clients with direct marketing strategies, Web development and maintenance, product and company branding, print and collateral development, email marketing, multimedia and Flash, and more.

WHAT YOU GET FROM US:
  • FREE RENT in a prime downtown location
  • Hired as W-4 part-time employee (flexible hours: 0-40 hrs/wk.)

Account Manager

Job Description:
This position requires a strong understanding of salesforce.com for database maintenance, email marketing, written proposals, and customer loyalty campaigns. includes regular collaboration with Targa Media clients, including project status updates, direct marketing strategies, and occasional production services. Must be a good problem solver as well as detail oriented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Manage internal timelines and client expectations
  • Basic understanding of Web usability and good design principles
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign helpful
  • Knowledge in HTML, CSS or front-end Web programming is a plus
Compensation: Up to $20/hr

Web Developer

TALENT POOL POSITION /Flex hours (Details)

Job Description:
Web maintenance and new development for Targa Media and our clients. Experience in HTML, HTML Tabling, Typographic CSS, Layout CSS, PHP, and front-end programming. Must be quick, able to juggle multiple projects, and detail oriented. We're a team that learns/hones new skills, and shares responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Possess a strong interest in current Web development
  • A willingness to collaborate on project objectives and progress
  • An adept ability to learn new techniques and skills
  • Basic understanding of Web usability and good design principles
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop
  • Knowledge in JavaScript, .PHP .ASP, and/or Flash ActionScript is a plus

Senior Designer

TALENT POOL POSITION /Flex hours (Details)

Job Description:
Concepting is key! Constructive brainstorming in group settings or individually, and strong design skills in executing final concepts.

As part of the creative team reporting to the Creative Director, the Senior Designer will be responsible for providing graphic design, conceptual and stylistic leadership, and visual execution. Understanding of good typography is a must.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate current client collateral, suggest/implement design improvements
  • Concept/design for print and interactive media
  • Conceptualizing, storyboarding
  • Graphical production
  • Build and enforce branding style guides
  • Work with marketing team to produce targeted promotions
  • Contribute to team-building environments
  • Recommend processes and standards for best interface usability
  • Production: File pre-press prep, HTML coding/testing
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Four-year college degree in art or graphic design
  • High competence with Adobe CS3 Production Suite, HTML coding
  • Experience in the workplace. Experience should demonstrate an inclination to manage multiple projects and timelines
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and implement graphical user interfaces for a variety of market segments
  • Experience managing creative teams
  • Ability to work on projects in a team environment
